Help us build community – volunteer with the Markdale Agricultural Society. We offer a variety of opportunities for all ages, interests, skill sets and projects that can fit into your schedule. We are looking for volunteers year round. Monthly meetings are not a requirement to volunteer with us!

Our community outreach projects include Poultry for Profit fundraising, community event nights, educational seminars and workshops, the Good Food Box project and our pinnacle event Fall Fair.

Volunteer opportunities leading up to and during fair weekend include; kids activities, livestock shows, administration such as vendor registrations, data entry/management and membership records, guest liaising, entertainment, VIP hospitality and grounds maintenance.

Benefits of volunteering with the Agricultural Society include community engagement, social outlet, Agricultural awareness, opportunities for personal growth, entertainment and a sense of accomplishment and community bonding.
