Public Notice

COVID-19 UPDATE April 18, 2020

Good morning fellow fair enthusiasts!
As mentioned in our March post the board of directors is continuing to montior the community and provincial status that would allow us to have some kind of event.

We have watched sadly as a number of our fellow fair partners have had to cancel their entire plans for 2020. A disheartening reality for many communities

In Markdale, we have continued to work on our Fair Book/Prize list and hope to have it available on our Website very soon.
In the event that we could not hold a fair this year, the theme and all classes would be carried into the 2021 year. Therefore work done this year would still be valid for next year.

We know that if we have the opportunity to host a fair this year it will look very different from past years. But if given the chance we would be happy to provide a little glimmer of normalcy into our community again.

Thank you all for being so patient as decisions are made behind the scenes, and we will do our best to keep you as up to date as possible as the world issues continue to change.

We truly appreciate our volunteers, sponsors, members and partners who have continued to support us through these times. We are a small but mighty team and we will continue to have everyone’s safety and best interests at heart as decisions are made.

Thank you all – Stay safe!

A list of events and fair schedule will be posted. Check back soon!
